A Place to Relax and Have Fun
La Villa
Retreat into the rain forests of a Costa Rica vacation rental and relax to the sounds of wildlife. Close to amenities, but far enough to forget they exist. With beaches just minutes away, there are activities for the whole family. Situated on 1.5 Acres of lush gardens, is the spacious 4 bedroom/4 bathroom house with large common areas. Beyond the house is a very large pool, basketball court, covered carports for 6 cars and the centerpiece of the villa, the grand pavilion. The thatched roof pavilion (called rancho by Ticos) has a bar/kitchen with a barbeque, 2 bathrooms, a changing room, and 2 outdoor showers. With its expansive common areas the house is designed to entertain large families and is a perfect place to drink margaritas with monkeys!
El Rancho
The Costa Rican name for the pavilion is "el rancho". The palm roof of the rancho is one of the centerpieces of the property that will provide shade and cover from rain. This expansive space has ten hammocks, a dinner table made from native wood, a kitchen and bar, a plethora of comfortable couches and chairs, and men's and women's bathrooms and a changing room. Gather your family and friends for evening drinks, music, and dance with the monkeys. Enjoy cooking your meals outside and eating outdoors underneath the rancho.
Swimming Pool
Whether cooling off, swimming laps, jazzercising or just playing around, the oversized pool is sure to please. With complete privacy - night swimming underneath stars in the wilderness will leave you in awe. Enjoy your coffee by the pool each morning while you send the monkeys off on their daily adventure. Enjoy the birds flying over. Listen for the screeching macaws that frequent the skies of Esterillos. Make sure to plan a relaxing pool day. Soak up the sun in privacy and take a dip anytime!
Beaches
Beaches are the main reason people visit Costa Rica and Esterillos has some of the best! Esterillos is one of the closest tranquil beaches to the San Jose International Airport. The pristine, vast and typically uncrowded beach of Esterillos Este is right down the street from Villa Paraiso and with a quick (less than 5 min) drive you are there! The waves are great fun to play in and you will see world class surfers. If you would like to relax in calm waters you can go to Esterillos Oeste, near the mermaid statue. Here there are tide pools with calm warmer water. The best time and place to watch the surfers is when high tide is just before sunset at the Esterillos Oeste beach. Watching surfers at sunset is amazing and not something you will soon forget.
